By placing an order or using our website and services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Please read them carefully. It is critical that these terms and conditions are read and understood before placing your order with Sweet Empire.
Sweet Empire reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at their own discretion with amendments becoming effective immediately.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all order details on the invoice are correct before completing payment. Once payment is received, the order is confirmed and final.
Changes to your order

Any request for order changes must be made prior to payment. Changes requested after payment are subject to availability and approval and may incur additional charges.
Cancellations Policy

Made to Order Products
All Sweet Empire products are made fresh to order. Because of this, cancellations after an order has been confirmed are generally not accepted.
Change of Mind
Orders cannot be cancelled or refunded for change of mind once payment has been processed. Customer are encouraged to review their orders carefully before payment.
Unforeseen Circumstances
If Sweet Empire is unable to fulfil an order due to unforeseen circumstance (e.g. Ingredient shortages, illness, or other unavoidable events), a full refund will be issued.
Contacting Us
If there is an issue with your order, please contact Sweet Empire as soon as possible. We will work with you to find a fair solution where possible.
Refund
Refund will only be processed in the cases outlined above. Sweet Empire reserves the right to refuse cancellations or refunds outside these terms.
Storage

If you refrigerate the cake, please make sure not to consume right away as it may harden and dry out.
If you wish to consume your products the day following delivery, please refrigerate overnight and let it sit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight 1-2 hours prior to consumption.
Delivery

Delivery Area
Sweet Empire offers delivery to selected locations in the Logan area and South Brisbane. Delivery outside these areas may be considered on a case-by-case basis and may incur additional charges.
Delivery Times
Delivery times will be arranged and confirmed at the time of order.
Sweet Empire cannot guarantee exact delivery times but will make every effort to mee the agreed schedule
Delivery Fees
Delivery fees apply and will communicate at the time ordering.
Fees are based on the delivery location and order size.
Order Confirmation & Payment
Orders must be fully paid before delivery is scheduled.
Customers are responsible for reviewing their order and delivery details before payment. Once payment is confirmed, the order is considered final.
Delivery Process
Orders will be delivered to the address provided by the customer.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the order at the scheduled time.
Sweet Empire is not responsible for orders left unattended or delivered to an incorrect address due to customer error.
Product Care During Delivery
While Sweet Empire ensures careful handling, cakes and baked goods are delicate products. Sweet Empire is not responsible for damage occurring after the order has been delivered.
Customers are encouraged to follow storage instructions provided with the order.
Changes & Cancellations
Delivery details (address or time) can only be changed prior to payment.
Once payment is made, delivery details and the order are considered final.
Inclement Weather or Unforeseen Circumstances
Delivery may be delayed due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen events.
Sweet Empire will communicate any delays promptly and work with customers to arrange an alternative delivery time where possible.
Liability
Sweet Empire is not liable for loss, damage, or spoilage once the product has been successfully delivered.
Customers assume all responsibility for the product after delivery.
Allergens & Dietary Information

Ingredient Information
Sweet Empire takes care to provide accurate information about the ingredients used in all products. Ingredients may include, but are not limited to nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten, soy, and other common allergens.
Cross-Contamination
All products are prepared in a home kitchen where allergens are present. While we take care to minimise cross contamination, Sweet Empire cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens.
Customer Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the customer to inform Sweet Empire of any allergies or dietary restrictions before placing an order.
Customers with severe allergies should carefully consider whether it is safe to consume our products.
Labelling & Communication
Sweet Empire will provide ingredient lists and highlight potential allergens wherever possible, including on product descriptions and invoices.
No Liability for Allergic Reactions
Sweet Empire cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions that may occur from consuming our products. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges this risk.
